A sketch of the life of George Roberts
This was my relative and I owned the original book and all related documents including letters to and from the president. They were stolen on March 3, 2012 when I was living in New England. The state police and FBI are investigating the theft. If you come across any of the items, you are advised to report it to the authorities. Thank you! Glenn and Maria Davis.

The official track list is complete and approved. The details of the finalized list will be withheld until the actual release takes place. Updates will be pushed as they occur. All official press releases will be posted here including any media links.

Fortune 500
Having the proud honor of being awarded and publicly recognized for setting and holding the world record for longest and largest album on the planet, I have decided to outdo myself. In June of 2013, I will attempt to break my own world record with the release of “Fortune 500”
Fortune 500 will contain five hundred tracks (or songs) and will be available as a single album digital download. In addition, five hundred limited-edition numbered physical CD Box Sets with picture books will be available at $500 (USD) each. Having been born and raised in Massachusetts and married to my beautiful wife Maria on 24 August 2012 in my hometown of Weston, the Boston Marathon Bombings hit home and hit hard. As a result, I will donate one hundred percent of the sales from the Collector’s Physical CD Box Sets to the Boston Marathon Bombings Victim’s Fund.

The Inevitable
THE INEVITABLE
By Glenn and Maria Davis
The deranged cowards know what they did. They sit silent without remorse and snicker about the crimes they did. They spend their empty lives by continuing to deceive and lie. But alas, no one is above the law and when they least expect it, they will be brought to justice and have the rest of their existence to reflect on the unconscionable acts they chose to commit.

Justice
I look forward to seeing Justice. My Wife Maria will look at Them. I can only imagine what she will think.
The Best Holiday Is Valentine’s Day
Out of every single day of each year, my favorite is Valentine’s Day (tied with my Wedding Anniversary) and there are many reasons for this. The most important reason why I hold this sacred day in such high regard is my Wife. She is not only my spouse, she is my partner as long as we shall live and beyond, she is my best friend for all time, she is my everything and more.
Being alive is the most important thing in life and I could never even begin to imagine living without my Wife. There is no person that could ever take her place. After over a half century of living, life has taught me many valuable lessons and the most important one that I learned a long time ago is that your spousal figure is to be cherished as much as life itself.
In a selfish world where so many people only think about themselves or what they can get from others, my Wife and I are in an elite group of a small percentage of souls that actually live by our sacred bond. We care about each other as one. We never lose sight of the gift that we are fortunate to share. We unconditionally stand by each other ALWAYS. We are both secure about our happiness with our lives individually and as a whole.
After many precious years stolen from me by others who only care about taking, I was finally rewarded for my long wait by meeting and becoming married to my Wife. Valentine’s Day is the Official Holiday for those who are as fortunate enough to have what Maria and I have. Valentine’s Day is a celebration of the most important part of life and as a result, a celebration of life itself.
Wishing all those who won the ultimate lottery of life a very happy Valentine’s Day,
Glenn and Maria Davis
Where To Buy The Music
On 10 February 2013, all new Music offered by Glenn Davis Doctor G and The Superstars will be released and available by purchase only. There will be no public broadcast (Television, Radio, Internet, etc.) and the products will be available by purchase world-wide exclusively through a single outlet which will be announced publicly on 10 February 2013.
The sole purpose of making the music so exclusive is that it is superior to any music ever offered in the past or present. In a world where everyone is “giving away” products via free downloads, listens, videos, etc., the saturation factor is off the scale. In any venture, the better product stands alone and sells itself. If you have the ultimate product, it will be obvious and advertising and promotion will only serve to demean the product. If a product has to hide behind hype to stand out, it is not a superior product. We take great pride in offering what others cannot. No glitz, no bull, just the highest quality with one-of-a-kind distinction in every positive aspect.
Superstars
The “Superstars” are an elitist group of the most talented and brilliant people that own and run the Music and Entertainment Industry.

Weston 300
The Town of Weston, Massachusetts is proudly celebrating their 300th Anniversary. More information can be found HERE. I will be participating in the celebrations and will be submitting sponsorship. Having spent the majority of my life as a resident, I also recorded numerous albums there including live performances at the Josiah Smith Tavern.

Giving Tuesday
For the very first Giving Tuesday, Glenn Davis Doctor G and The All Stars are stepping up to the plate by deciding to allow free music downloads to continue for longer than planned. Glenn’s father passed away on a Tuesday and he was no stranger to charitable pursuits. Having been recently married to his wife Maria, Glenn has considered himself very fortunate because of the continued selfless acts and the dedication he receives from his loving spouse.
Davis has been quoted numerous times in the media as a person who makes it a mission statement to give to those in need. “Something as simple as bringing holiday cheer through music to people who are deserving, but do not have the ability to obtain new recordings since they are struggling just to put food on the table is a must” said Davis in a recent interview.
Best Toys
Best Toys
With the Holiday Season upon us, it brings to mind some of the best toys that made superior gifts. These toys were put to the test in various ways by myself and friends and are scarce since they were either destroyed in use, thrown out, or simply misplaced. The list of toys and games that come to mind is extensive, so only the best of the best are here.
Mentor
The Mentor Game was a great toy and since nobody else had one, it always amused people the first time they saw it and offered a great way to be interactive with the machine itself. The game was easy on the batteries, but the lights were unpredictable and the “Hand” was an easy target to puppy kicks since the wire was flimsy.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Car
Corgi Toys always put out great products since they were almost indestructible and made great display pieces when not in use. The highlight of this toy was the retractable wings located either side of the vehicle just under the running boards.
Billy Blastoff
Billy Blastoff offered hours of fun with it’s collection of add-ons powered by Billy. Space toys were all the rage and Billy was very popular with all ages even though it seemed geared to younger consumers.
Major Matt Mason
With a huge array of add-ons, Major Matt Mason is the holy grail of space toys. These toys were rugged and could be used outside which made them the supreme “Adventure” toy. Tested in all weather including snow, they were always up to a new challenge and made for the ultimate toy experience. The attention to detail made you feel like you were actually living the adventures right alongside as you dreamed up new ways of engaging with the assorted items in your collection.
Vertibird
Offered in several configurations, Vertibird was always interesting for male and female “Pilots” and offered stalwart construction. The Copter was powerful enough to challenge it to hoist various items and hovering was always fun. The controls were simple, yet highly entertaining.
Dareplane Stunter
Made by the same company that manufactured Vertibird, Dareplane Stunter was an “Upscale” version which utilized a flexible drive cord (same concept as what drives an analog speedometer) unlike the rigid one found on it’s little brother. More fun than Vertibird, The Dareplane was hard to master and was of extremely shoddy construction. We went through five returns before realizing every one made would suffer the same fate and after the final very frustrating long and complicated set-up, we gave up on it and bought a second Vertibird.
Space Belt
The ability to actually wear the Space Belt made this a great “Travel” toy. The highlight was the drinking tube which could be filled with your favorite beverage of choice. The Space Belt was a great supplement to the “Moon Walker” which was a large all-cardboard toy that came with a moon plaque and built-in handles to facilitate walking the “Lunar Surface” once you crawled up inside the Lunar Landing Module. Various controls were redacted by creating new ones by the lucky owner.

Glenn Davis Doctor G and The All Stars
As 2012 rapidly comes to a close, I would like to thank all of the stellar people who have contributed to the works produced this year. The time, hard work and dedication you have all shared has been more than phenomenal and will be appreciated for all time. The “All Stars” that make up Glenn Davis Doctor G and The All Stars are clearly the finest in the history of Modern Music. The list of names is staggering and comprise craftspeople who are committed to going above and beyond.
Some of you I have been fortunate enough to have worked with in the past, while others are new-comers who I look forward to working with well into the future. The ability to collaborate globally with ease has made this all possible. Not to diminish anyone, I must say that I have been very moved by the passing of Whitney Houston this year and even though I worked with her in person for a limited time while she was still with us, the records I have been able to produce because of her since her passing has made me feel honored.
As always, it’s not just everyone who makes the magic happen on the production and business level, an eternal thank you is also due for those who support what we do by standing by us by enjoying the end result. My Wife Maria and I consider you all close and dear friends.
Peace, Love and Thank You,
Glenn

Recording Studio Days
Those Were The Days
Having spent the majority of life in recording studios, I must admit that one of my favorites is now for sale again. Blue Jay Recording is on the market and includes not only the fabulous location and physical real estate, but the electronics as well. “The Jay” is contained in an “earth house” structure and has always been a world-class place to record.
From the earliest days when Aerosmith utilized the Sony MCI gear, to the installation of the first SSL Desk in the area all the way up to the changing of hands from Bob to Kevin and Marcus (who changed it from SSL to Neve) Blue Jay has always been a superb setting for those engaged in making records. Just a few towns over from Weston, The Jay was an easy commute compared to traveling to New York City or other locations. The quiet suburban setting meant no parking hassles and the BBQ and Lounge with full kitchen kept everyone happy.
At one of my many sessions there, Bob, who had just bought his wife Janet a new convection oven for their home close to the studio, was nice enough to allow it to be used for baking some of my masters from Unique Recording (now defunct) so that we could finish the records. Bob came in another time when I was there with Artie Shaw to share some shells that he collected with his wife on Cape Cod. Everyone was always super cool to you and went out of their way to please you.
Blue Jay was not just a studio, it was a place to enjoy time with people and make new friends. There were so many projects going on at any given moment, it was not uncommon to run into whoever happened to be working there. Ben Orr and Roy Orbison are no longer with us and it is thanks to the studio that I was fortunate enough to spend time with them. It was also thanks to The Jay that I became friends with Ed Goodreau who was humble and well versed not in just the technology and how to use it to it’s maximum, but a true musician as well.
Many of the Clients that recorded at “The Reel” (Sounds On Reel Recording Studios, Weston, Massachusetts) also spent time at Blue Jay including Dawna Hammers, who at the time was married to one of the top people at Kurzweil in Waltham, Mass. The Live Room at Blue Jay was smaller than was available at nearby Mission Control in Westford (which had a gymnasium sized recording room, but a cramped control room with the first “split” SSL) but always accommodated even large projects such as the ones Artie Shaw did. Later on, an ISO Room was added before Bob sold the studio to the current owners. Many would record drums at Longview Farm or in the geodesic ISO Room at Normandy Sound and then continue production at Blue Jay. The “Closet” at Blue Jay offered some of the finest state-of-the-art and vintage microphones and there was always a helpful staff there that would accommodate the needs of any project.
Today, the owners are hoping to keep the history of this world famous facility alive which is a blessing since the majority of the top recording studios around the globe where all the hits came out of are now defunct. I took a great deal of video footage and photographs over the years at Blue Jay (besides the work I did there) and looking back at all the changes, it would be a wonderful thing indeed to see Blue Jay continue as it has since it first opened.

Bermuda Pictorial Book
Bermuda A Pictorial History is a book by Glenn Davis Doctor G and will be available on Amazon in September 2012. The book will chronicle the history of Bermuda from the 1960’s to 2012. Included in the book are never before seen rare images of the island, resorts, people, culture and beauty that is Bermuda.
Having visited Bermuda extensively since the early 1960’s, our family has built a large library of photographs of this very special location. Images of many celebrities and events will grace the book as well as scenic shots, resort images and photos of the construction of the hotels that dot the island. Much of the island has changed over the years and places like the OBSO Lounge at Sonesta Beach that only stood for a short period because of weather related events are gone forever, but will continue to live on by means of photographic evidence.
Southampton Princess Hotel Bermuda
Southampton Princess Hotel Bermuda
On 17 August 1972, two people were presented the only two keys to the Southampton Princess Hotel in Bermuda. One was given to Joseph M. Correia, builder of the Hotel, the other Key was given to my Father, Roy W. Davis.
My Father and our Family were the first people to stay as guests of the Princess and our first stay was while most of the Hotel was under construction. We first met Howard Hughes there while meeting with Daniel K. Ludwig and they offered the first finished room to us. My Father cut the ribbon to officially open the Hotel and was presented the prestigious Key to the Southampton Princess.
Today, the Southampton Princess is now the Fairmont Princess. While there have been many changes since the Princess first opened, some things have stayed the same including the Waterlot Inn.

The End of the World
The End of the World
Unlike anything else, The End of the World will be the definition of Profound. If you look and listen at how deep we have been with everything so far, this one will really make you stop and think. Take as one example; efil (Life backwards) was created not only as art, but to make those who are clueless stop, think and hopefully get a clue. While of completely different subject matter, “World” will simply state facts so that more people will hopefully understand the scope of what is being put forth.
In a time when the global economy is clearly tanking and the perils of life and the condition of the planet we all share are all too obvious, The End of the World is an “In your face” statement. The End of the World is available to all, but only those who have already purchased before will be able to obtain it in a complimentary fashion which is also our way of making another statement to everybody.

Free For All

Since AOL 1.0, the Internet has become a Free For All.
FREE FOR ALL
Back in the early days of home computing, there were limited options when it came to “Online” Services. Computers were equally limited, as were speeds needed to move information. Today, many take for granted what we utilize on a daily basis for home and business use. With the explosion of new technologies and the popularity of Social Networking Sites such as Facebook (which is now the largest image sharing site) being “connected” is easier than ever. Higher connection speeds, lower hardware costs and the advent of Free Services have opened the door for just about everyone across the globe.
In the days of yore, if you wanted to “share” information, the cost was often staggering. As AOL Charter Member 524, the memory of paying sometimes thousands of dollars a month just to chat with friends on an AOL Chat Room and post on USENET brings to mind that now just about anyone can easily exchange information of all types for free literally has made the Web/Internet a Free For All. While this has many benefits, it also has it’s drawbacks as well.
Popularity Contest; “like” this, “rate” that and so on. While competition has, is, and will always be part of life, the truth about certain types of competing is that if it is on a global and public scale, there will always be those that abuse and use in negative ways. Since everyone has their own opinions about everything from your favorite food, movie, music, political topic, etc., etc., “online” commenting and “rating” can lead to unproductive use of time. The people of the world are best put to use in the betterment of the place we all share and so many are takers and not givers.
Since there will always be those who are greedy, dishonorable and jealous, the danger of being hurt by monetary theft or unjust tarnishing of reputation via the Internet is all too real. This is one of the main reasons Google and other entities take privacy so seriously. If those who use computers and the Internet for dishonorable practices expended the time and effort into honorable productivity, imagine how far ahead they would be in life. Now about that AOL 1.0 Startup Floppy that sold for almost $10k……….

Victims Rights
THE RIGHT TO RESTITUTION
Introduction
The term “restitution” generally refers to restoration of the harm caused by the defendant, most commonly in the form of payment for damages. It can also refer to the return or repair of property stolen or damaged in the course of the crime.
Courts have the authority to order restitution by convicted offenders as part of their sentences. In approximately one-third of states, courts are required to order restitution to victims in cases involving certain types of crimes, typically violent felony offenses. In many other states, if the court fails to order restitution, or orders restitution for only part of the victim’s losses, the court must state its reasons for doing so on the record. Payment of restitution is often a condition of probation or parole as well.
Not only can courts order restitution to the direct victim of a crime, they are often able to order restitution to the state victim compensation board, if that board has paid some of the victim’s expenses, or to a victim service agency that provided assistance to the victim.
Losses Covered
Restitution can cover any out-of-pocket losses directly relating to the crime, including:
medical expenses;
therapy costs;
prescription charges;
counseling costs;
lost wages;
expenses related to participating in the criminal justice process (such as travel costs and child care expenses);
lost or damaged property;
insurance deductibles; and
other expenses that resulted directly from the crime.
Behind Bleeding Hearts
Behind the Bleeding Hearts
Bleeding Hearts are the true flowers of love. Some interesting facts behind this beautiful flower is that it has beneficial medicinal uses and other healing powers. Bleeding Heart or “Valentine flower” which can grow more than thirty inches and flowers in pink, red and white, were used by Native Americans as a compress or tincture for the relief of pain. The aesthetics alone can help one to feel good and those who are truly in love find a special connection and affinity to this wonderful plant.
When searching for the perfect wildflower garden, one should always include plants from the bleeding-heart family. As a perennial which come up by themselves, they are fond of shade or partially shaded settings. The flowers are delicate and can be carefully made into a stunning bouquet that will grace any place they are used for display. No spring would be complete without the Bleeding Heart.
Introduced in 1847 by Robert Fortune, Bleeding Hearts were a favorite of the Royal Horticultural Society. The classic heart shape serves as a reminder of the power of love.

Wife of Davis who gave birth to son that is to be married is family of founders.
Other Traditions strictly adhered to include accidental tearing of LAVENDER wedding dress (which signifies good luck) and the hand-made fabrication of a Welsh Love Spoon.

General Welsh Wedding Traditions
(SOURCE: Gordd Cymru)
Curious wedding customs still prevail in Wales, especially in the western counties.
Marriage by capture, even in the near past, is particularly popular in Cardiganshire. On the morning of the wedding day, the bridegroom and his friends proceed to the bride’s home. They find the door locked, and the relatives and friends of the bride prepared to resist the bridegroom’s entry. Considerable scuffling, merriment, and horseplay occurs, until order is restored by a spokesman from each side, who, in old times held an animated dialogue, chiefly in verse. The bridegroom is then admitted, but although he searches, he cannot find the bride who is disguised. The bride is eventually discovered disguised, either as an aged woman knitting in a corner or as an old crone nursing a baby boy (regarded as a symbol of good luck, and promise of sons rather than daughters). The wedding party goes to church or chapel, as the case may be. As soon as the bride reaches the church, she is seized by her father and brother or other relatives, who ride or drive off with her. A chase ensues, and when the bridegroom catches the party, the bride is delivered into his keeping. They return to the church, and the wedding ceremony proceeds in the usual manner.
In the old marriage customs of Wales, there were the Bidding or invitation to the wedding; the Gwahoddwr, or Bidder, whose duty it was formally to invite the guests; the Ystafell, or bride’s goods and presents; the Pwrs a Gwregys, or purse and girdle; the Pwython, and the Neithior.
The bidding is a general invitation to all the friends of the bride and bridegroom, to meet either at the houses of the parents, or any other place appointed. If strangers chance to be in the neighborhood and wish to attend, they are warmly welcomed. At the Bidding, a voluntary contribution, no matter how large or small a sum, is expected from each guest, in order to make up a purse for the young couple.
It was the duty of the Gwahoddwr to go from house to house to invite the guests to the Bidding. He carried as the staff of office, a willow wand stripped of its bark. The wand and his hat were gaily decorated with bright colored ribbons, and a lover’s knot, or white favor, was fastened in the button-hole of his coat. The Gwahoddwr knocked at the door of each guest, and, once admitted, he would strike the floor with his staff, and announce the date of the wedding. Sometimes, the invitation was made in rhyme, but more frequently in prose. As a rule, the Gwahoddwr was a boisterous fellow or bard, who prepared a rhyme for the occasion.
In the present day, the services of the Gwahoddwr are generally replaced by a written note or circular that is sent out to the wedding list. This is to be regretted, since it robs the marriage custom of its ancient character. The Gwahoddwr’s circuit was one of the most pleasing and enjoyable features of the rural Welsh wedding of the past.
On the Friday before the wedding, the Ystafell, or household goods, were brought home. This included one or two feather beds and blankets, and an oaken chest, probably an heirloom in the family of the bride. Then, according to custom, the bridegroom sent bedsteads, tables, and a dresser. Whatever was necessary for house-keeping came in, some of the goods being supplied by the parents of the young people, and others by relatives and friends. Meanwhile, the young man was busy at his home receiving money, cheese, bacon, and other things from his friends. These gifts sometimes included a cow, a horse, a pig, geese, ducks, and other gifts of a similar nature if he intended farming. At the same time, the bride in her home received the Pwrs a Gwregys, or purse and girdle. These presents included money, and all articles necessary for a housekeeper.
On the wedding morning the invited guests paid their Pwython, or presents for those which they had received at different weddings. Thus, the future bride or bridegroom had perhaps attended five or six weddings before their own marriage and to each young couple they had given presents. Now, they required and expected those young married folk to bring a gift in return.
After depositing their Pwython, refreshment was offered, and then ten or twelve of the bridegroom’s friends mounted their horses or rigs, and went to demand the bride, in whose home the Gwahoddwr was located. When the bridegroom’s procession halted at the house of the bride’s parents, one of the party, generally a harpist or bard, delivered lines appropriate to the occasion, and these were responded to by the Gwahoddwr, who remained within.
Search was made either then or in the evening, after the wedding festivities, for the bride, who ultimately was discovered under the disguise of a “granny.” After that, refreshments, consisting of bread and cheese and beer for the men, and cakes and wine for the women, were served.
At first, the wedding procession went at a moderate pace, but slowly the bride and her escorts went quicker, until, at length, they either rode at a gallop or rode off as swiftly as possible. Then the fun really began. The bridegroom and his party pursued the bride and her friends, and everybody did their utmost to chase and catch the bride, because whoever caught her would be married “for certain” within a year from that date. When the mirth subsided, the wedding party would quietly entered the church.
Once the “knot was tied”, the harpist seated in the churchyard, struck up a melody appropriate to the occasion. It would be “Merch Megan,” “Men tra Gwen,” or any other charming song, the words of which were sung by the assembled spectators. The bride and bridegroom mounted their horse, or walking, led the way to the house of the bride’s parents. In their progress, they were “chained” by ropes of evergreens, and the boys and men would not allow them to pass without paying their footing or toll. In the present times, rice is thrown at the happy pair, but this is a modern innovation, for in the old days, they were pelted with flowers.
The invited guests assembled at the bride’s home, where a substantial dinner was served, after which the bride and her girl friends entered the parlor, and the bridegroom and his companions headed to the village inn until tea-time.
Dancing filled the evening, when reels, country dances, and jigs were indulged in up to a late hour. For perhaps a second time, the bride is hidden from the bridegroom who must seek for his wife everywhere.
After a few songs with harp accompaniment, the wedding party would depart, and the bride and bridegroom quietly proceeded to their new home.
On the Neithior, or first Sunday after the wedding, the newly married pair always stayed at home to receive their friends, and thus conclude the marriage customs.
Lavender is considered a lucky colour for a wedding-gown, but to be “married in black” was ominous of unhappiness or disaster.
Late in the eighteenth century, the bridal flowers used in Wales were the pansy, roses of every kind excepting yellow, maiden blush, prickmadam, gentle heart, lady’s fingers, lady-smock, and strangest of all, prickles. A spray of golden blossomed gorse, or furze, was considered a lucky addition to other flowers. To encourage the bride in industry, red clover bloom was strewn in her pathway. The scarlet fuschia was to remind her of good taste in all things. Golden-rod was the symbol of caution in domestic and other matters; whole straws were to teach her that to agree is better than to differ; the shamrock was to advise her to be lighthearted; heather was for good luck, and sprays of ivy were emblems of fidelity.

Glenn Scott Davis
Glenn Scott Davis (Glenn Davis Doctor G)
Honor. Loyalty. Pride.
Our Davis ancestors have been traced to Wales, England. Davis is a popular Welsh surname. The name origin can be traced to the Davidson Clan in Scotland. The Scottish Davis family was a sept of the larger and powerful Davidson Clan.
Today the Davis name is among the most numerous in England and Wales. This is due to the fact that there are so many variations of the name. Davis is a derivation of the name David, which means “well-beloved” — popular in Biblical days and a favorite among the Scottish kings. Davis was used to signify “son of David”. Though of ancient standing in Wales, David hardly appears in England before the Norman Conquest (A.D. 1066). The spelling evolved in various forms, it has produced many family names such as Davis, Davidson, Davies, Daves, Dawson, Dawes, Day, Dakin, Davison, etc. The Irish form is M’Daid; the French, Devis.
For several centuries the Davis clans lived mainly in Wales, and some in Northern Ireland, the present-day counties on the island of Ireland, which comprise Ulster. Most of the people of Great Britian, that is England, Scotland, Wales, and Ulster, and likewise the Davises, were and are of the Protestant faith.
The Davises who came from the British Isles to America continued in the faith of their fathers, for the most part, though their descendants in this country today will be found in the memberships of practically all the various Protestant churches. The original Davis immigrants, and their families, in the main were ardent followers of the Church of England, with their descendants becoming members and ministers of Methodist, Methodist-Episcopal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Congregational, and Episcopal churches. A small percentage did convert to the Quaker and Roman Catholic faiths, however. And, there are some with the name who are of the Jewish faith.
The Davises are sons of Davis, with a lofty aim.
A favorite with the Scottish Kings, there’s music in the name.
In righteous causes Davis spirits rise to fervent flame .
The clan goes marching on!
Chorus: Glory to the name of Davis!
Glory to the tribe of Davis!
” Vir-tu-te du-ce co-mi-teFor-tu-na ”— Davis wins!
The ancient sires of Davis Family lived and died in Wales.
Where English tongue is spoken now the Davis name prevails.
How could the nations but advance when Davis never fails!
The clan goes marching on!
Thomas, Samuel, John and James were fathers of our clan.
Benja-min had nine stalwart sons, each was a handsome man.
” Ben Davis ” is the apple, good from tree or from a can.
The clan goes marching on!
The Davis clan is mighty — over half a millon strong .
In seventy -six three thousand kinsmen fought to right a wrong.
Thirty towns bear Davis names. Sure, let us sing that song—-The clan goes marching on!
” I have not a minute man who is afraid to go,”
At Concord Bridge, said Captain Issac, with his heart aglow.
He gave his life at the first shot from muskets of the foe.
The clan goes marching on!
Jeff Davis was a statesman — the hero of Dixie – land;
The south made him their President, and Davis took his stand.
Though cause be lost we lead or follow as we understand.
The clan goes marching on!
The Davis sons have courage any enemy to face;
The Davis girls are lovely with their beauty, charm and grace;
The Davis leaven is a blessing to the human race.
The clan goes marching on!
If you claim the name of Davis, help the Davis song to sing;
With Davis blood and motto you can win at anything.
Family Pride and ‘valor’ surely will ” good fortune bring.
The clan goes marching on!

The Church
Location History
ALEXANDRIA lies in the southeastern part of the county, in lat. 43
degrees 37 minutes and long. 71 degrees 50 minutes, an extremely
irregularly outlined township, bounded north by Groton and Hebron,
northeast by Bristol, south by Hill, Danbury and Grafton, and west by
Orange. It was originally granted by the Masonian proprietors, to
Joseph Butterfield Jr., and others, March 13, 1762, and was incorporated
November 23, 1782. Many changes have been made in the town’s
territorial limits, however, but curtailment and annexation, so that the
original limits, as given in the charter, would be almost entirely
unrecognizable, they being stated in that document as follows:–
“Being at a maple tree in Mason’s Patent line, about forty rods
from Newfound pound, thence over part of said pond, south 12 degrees
east five miles and a half, to a hemlock tree; thence south 53 degrees
west eight and a half miles, to a beach tree, marked; thence north
12 degrees west four and a half miles, to the patent line
aforementioned; and thence easterly on said line to place of
beginning.”
An additional tract of land was granted by the proprietors, July 7,
1773, greatly increasing the limits, and bounded as follows:–
“Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Alexandria aforesiad, on
the Patent line, and running on said Patent line to Fisherfield corner,
in Great Sunappe Pond, from thence east on the northerly side line of
Fisherfield, 472 rods, to Parrystown corner; then north 85 degrees east,
about four miles, to a beach tree, marked, on Parrystown line; thence
north 99 degrees east, about 1,672 rods, to a beach tree, marked, in
Alexandria corner; thence north 12 degrees west, to the Patent line
aforementioned, on the westerly side of said Alexandria.”
This latter trace has been known by the name of Heidleburg for some
years previous to this grant, and was subsequently so called by some;
but in most official documents it was designated as Alexandria Addition.
On June 25, 1779, it was incorporated as a separate township, under the
name of New London, which name it still bears.
On February 11, 1778, a part of Alexandra was taken towards forming,
with a part of New Chester (now Hill), a new township by the name of
Bridgewater. Another portion of the town was set off June 18, 1795,
and incorporated as a town by the name of Danbury. By an act of
December 7, 1820, a tract of land was severed from the town of Orange
and annexed to Alexandria; and by an act passed on the 20th of said
month a tract of land was severed from Alexandria and annexed to the
town of New Chester, the last change the town has been subjected to,
and it now contains about 20,800 acres. In surface, the town is wildly diversified, picturesque and beautiful.
On its western border, forming the dividing line between it and
Orange, ranges Cardigan Mountain, which, at an elevation of 3,156 feet,
towers above all the other elevations of the vicinity. Its based is
rugged and covered with a heavy growth of timber, while its summit is
divided into two granite peaks which can be seen for miles distant.
From the base of the mountain the surface of the town has a general
slope to the northeast–very broken, with Prime Hill as the highest
elevation. Foster Pond, lying in the southern part of the town, has
its outlet into Newfound Lake, which extends a short distance into the
northeastern part of the town. Into this outlet debouche two other quite
large streams, with their tributary streams, forming the water-course of
the township. The larger of these tributary streams, Fowler’s River,
has its source near the summit of Cardigan Mountain. The soil is in
general good, especially bordering the streams and ponds where are
found excellent alluvial deposits. There is also about 2,000 acres of
valuable intervale land which bears every evidence of having once been
the bottom of Newfound Lake, there being found imbedded, at the depth
of twenty feet, stumps, trees, and traces of beaver dams.
Founders and Early Settlers
PHINEAS ACKERMAN, who served in the war of 1812, came to this town,
from Farmington, in 1835, and located on road 2. He married
Sarah Allard, of Farmington, and reared four children. His son Peter
married Betsey Scruten, of Strafford NH. Eight of their ten children
are living, one of whom, Peter T., married Emma J. Berry, and has

Wedding Poem
- Eternally and unconditionally.
This day I married my best friend
the one I laugh with as we share life’s wonderous zest,
as we find new enjoyments and experience all that’s best.
the one I live for because the world seems brighter
as our happy times are better and our burdens feel much lighter.
the one I love with every fiber of my soul.
We used to feel vaguely incomplete, now together we are whole.
Getting Married In Massachusetts
Massachusetts Wedding
The process for getting married in Massachusetts basically requires an
eligible couple to submit an application for a license and pay a fee to any city
or town clerk in Massachusetts. After a three-day waiting period (unless it has
been waived by a court), the couple will receive the license from the clerk,
and must then have the marriage solemnized (i.e., have a ceremony in
Massachusetts) within 60 days of filing the application. Once the ceremony
has been performed, the person who performed it will state the time and place
of the wedding on the license, sign it, and send it back to the city or town
where the couple received it. The clerk will then register the marriage and the
couple can receive an official certificate of their marriage.
Massachusetts does not have a residency requirement for marriage, but until
July 31, 2008 an old law dating back to 1913 was used to deny marriage
licenses to same-sex couples from most other states unless they intended to
reside in Massachusetts. On July 31, 2008 Governor Patrick signed into law a
bill that repealed this so-called “1913 law,” and effective immediately on that
date same-sex couples from anywhere in the country or world can legally
marry in Massachusetts without having an intent to reside in Massachusetts.
Although this is great news, couples should be aware that whether the
marriage will be respected in their home state or country is a complicated
issue. In addition, because of the 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act, the
marriages of same-sex couples are not respected by the federal government,
and so same-sex couples are not allowed access to the 1,138 federal laws that
pertain to marriage. Also, should the couple at some point wish to end the
marriage, unless the couple lives in a state or country which does respect the
marriage, it may not be possible to dissolve the marriage until one member of
the couple moves to a place that does respect the marriage and lives there long
enough to meet that state or country’s residency requirement for divorce.
The detailed process for getting married in Massachusetts, whether you
should enter a marriage, and what it all means are questions this publication is
meant to address. Inevitably, you will have questions to which there are
simply no definitive answers at this time. We will continue to update our
publications as new developments occur over time.

What Was The Name Of
Time Machine
BY: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
We all have a past. We all have memories. Having been fortunate to have traveled the world most of my life, I enjoy the benefits of exploring and learning from cultures and places. It is often said that one always gravitates back to fond memories of places, past events and people that you shared experiences in life with. This thing called Nostalgia is one reason why eBay became so popular. People identify with the past. Whether it was your first car, favorite vacation spot, hotel, cruise ship, restaurant, toys you had growing up, most liked movies, television shows, music, favorite celebrity, or what have you.
There is a reason why that certain piece of memorabilia is so valuable to certain people; it brings joy by virtue of re-living good times. Happy is fun, happy is healthy, happy is good. The feeling you get from looking at an original brochure, for example, of a vintage dirt bike that you once owned and loved, or even buying it again in whatever condition it may be in is the closest thing to having a time machine. While everyone has a different upbringing, lives in different areas of the world and has whatever it is that they enjoy in life, we all share one thing in common: memories.
Having grown up in a place on the globe called New England, more specifically, a place called “Metrowest” which are suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, I would like to share some of the instruments and recording studios which I loved (and still do) but many of them, like the old amusement parks are gone forever. I have people, places and things globally which I reminisce about, but I would like to focus on local places where good food and good times were spent since they are attached to where I was raised (it is often said if no matter where you are, you always gravitate back to your roots) so I have picked several “gone forever” restaurants that I dearly miss. Even if you cannot relate directly to some of these places, it will at least get you thinking about the ones you can, which is the purpose of sharing this.
Giovanni’s, Rt. 9, Framingham, Massachusetts was the best Italian food in the world (tied with Javeli’s which is still in business near Logan International Airport) and had the best Pizza. The dining tables were adorned with Playola Jukeboxes so you could enjoy your favorite hit music while partaking in the wonderful culinary offerings presented. After your meal, you could go across the street to Shopper’s World, the world’s first indoor/outdoor mall to browse the many stores and oddities that would delight all ages. As of 2012, an Uno’s stands on the site where Giovanni’s used to be.
Chin’s Village, Rt. 9, Wellesley, Massachusetts was a Chinese restaurant which had an architecturally pleasing aesthetic exterior and very intricate interior with authentic Chinese adornments throughout. One of the specialties was Hon Sue Gai, a Polynesian dish.
Finnerty’s Country Squire, Cochituate (part of Wayland) Massachusetts, was an “upscale” establishment that served fine American Cuisine and offered a true New England “Yankee” ambiance. Sundays were always the busiest day at Finnerty’s.
Red Coach Grill, Rt. 20, Wayland, Massachusetts was a “Chain” restaurant which offered good food and good value. The Red Coach was a fixture which served many patrons over the years and was a “Family” style eatery.
The Pewter Pot, Boston, Massachusetts was a small chain of restaurants, which at least at one location, had a giant pewter pot hanging from the front of the building in which steam came out of the spout. The muffins and authentic new england clam chowder were phenomenal. Patrons were treated to the “Townie” feel and enjoyed a colonial theme with waitresses sporting revolution era garb. The burgers were also exceptionally great as was the value of the meals.
So next time you sit down at your favorite place to eat and enjoy time with who is close to your heart, savor every moment as you never know when it may be gone forever and only a time machine, nostalgic memories, or a piece of memorabilia will afford you ability to live the experience once again.

Official Lyrics Glenn Davis Doctor G
OFFICIAL LYRICS to “G” featuring PRINCESS
I don’t want you anyway I was blinded by love
But now I’m back hey hey see I’m through with the doves
You see me lookin’ good I ain’t got much to say say uh
I never understood how you let me slip away
I’m like a open book how I let you read away
You like the song’s hook and just always play the same
You say you want me back we ain’t even on the same track
Thought I was your girl thought you had your baby back
Soon as I turn your going right back to the bum chick
With the bum tracks bum ways and your bum acts
You’re so wet get back
Conned up unacceptable the cheat and deceit
Unforgivable thought we was inseparable
Thought you was incredible ho I was mistaken
I was taken by a guy who didn’t deserve me wanted to preserve me
I love love but it doesn’t seem to love back
My love left and my love ain’t coming back
I miss him but I hate him for that
How could he just leave with no reason was it me
Or was it just the season my eyes is puffy
And my chest is wheezin’ oo your voice can stop the weeping
The smell of your scent won’t stop wreakin’ that’s what I’m needing

Changes In Music
Very soon, a major change in the format currently being employed for music will be implemented. We will be offering select songs or “tracks” for full playback with the option to download. The majority of the catalog will be available for preview in the clip format only. In addition, the entire catalog of music will be available for full download.
Love At First Sight
Love At First Sight featuring Princess by Glenn Davis Doctor G was inspired by and dedicated to Princess Kimberly. When we first set out to compose this record, we wanted it to be genuine and sincere above all. Several other artists have used the same title including John Mellencamp and nothing even came close to the finished record.
By making sure to focus on every detail of the song, we pulled off the ultimate hit record. Each tweak and every nuance and note of the track was carefully executed. It is our belief that if the song and music itself can’t stand on it’s own without use of any form of glitz including, but not limited to things such as a big video production, then the recording is without merit. Like all of our records, we were also very careful not to overproduce the recording or come off as sounding forced. Real art and authentic hit records just happen.
The song found it’s inspiration by the fact that when I met Kimberly for the first time, we actually both found love at first sight. We continue to feel like the first time we laid eyes on each other and our love is boundless. The final mix of the original version sets the bar very high for everyone including us. We are proud to offer only the finest music for the world to cherish for all time.

Eternal Thanks
The Truth Will Always Reveal Itself
I have been fortunate to learn profound valuable lessons recently and have several people that I would like to thank eternally for various forms of support and wisdom that they offered and for the continuing compromises that they make for me.
Elissa Davis – My Daughter – for being there for me in every way even during times of domestic struggles of raising my one year old grandson, Christian.
Piers B. and Amy – for compromising your lives for me in every way and the genuine generosity that I was gifted with. Piers has been a dear friend since first grade and I consider him family.
Kathy L. – for being a best friend with sincerity even when she had an overwhelming amount of things on her plate at the time, she still came through in every way.
Becky N. – for being in my life since birth. Becca was born on the same day and year that I was and is a life-long friend that I consider family.
Wes C. – for offering me valuable insight and for making your studio available without condition.
T.W. – you know who you are, and you are kind, genuine, selfless and honorable…not to mention highly intelligent and the best chess player I have ever seen.
Barry Meyer – Barry has been an ongoing inspirational figure in my life and the support he affords is priceless.
Brian Ray – always there for me and never a sinister motive or agenda.
Alex Ray – a man who gives and gives and gives in every way. Look at an example of what he does.
Richard T. – wisdom, kindness, selfless and someone I consider a new and eternal dear friend.
The Hall Family – I love you all eternally.
To all of you, I thank you eternally with all my heart and soul. You are all cherished beyond the scope of words.
– Glenn

Music
I have been working 18 hour days, 7 days a week. The current releases are being done via worldwide collaboration and most of the tracks will be remixed in January, 2012 since I am engaged in the process of moving to California and have been busy working with a legal team to sort out events that require attention in the East Coast. I will be handing off the mastering chores of the January remixes to Bob Ludwig, Adam Ayan, Jay Frigoletto and my Nashville Production team.
I am currently looking over a label re-negotiation and weighing additional offers from all of the Major Labels to see what fits best for not only myself, my production staff, collaborators and the public itself. 2011 marked a milestone for me in many ways, including being involved with the design and testing of new technology in audio production and distribution. Being involved in the Infinity Project and working for many years on concepts that were shared with me by the late Bob Moog and the family of kind people at Google has proven to be a fortunate and beneficial experience. Larry Page has done a great job of orchestrating ground-breaking new concepts this year and the vast brain power that his company is blessed with is boundless.
I also owe much thanks to the media and broadcast industry for their support worldwide as we venture into 2012, which will mark a pivotal point in my career that spans over four decades. The recording academy has also offered great support and inspiration in my endeavors and pursuits, and I look forward to being a part of the board in 2012. I will also strive to continue to work closely with numerous charitable organisations that represent honorable giving to those who deserve a chance to see their talents blossom, but have not been afforded the benefits to be recognized due to hardships or missed opportunities. My appreciation for the support of those who have stood by me is cherished eternally.
I will strive to keep everyone up to date and will continue to work hard to provide you with better music and entertainment that will enrich the quality of life for you, your family and loved ones.
Thank you,

Why Kathy Means So Much To Me
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
On December 8, 2011, I will be forty nine years of age which is one year short of a half-century of being alive. I have had an exceptionally fortunate life since my very first breath, and although no one has a perfect life no matter how charmed, I have to honestly say that Kathy means more to me than anything with the exception of sharing the same appreciation that I hold for my other eternal best friend Piers.
Kathy is unconditionally selfless in every way. She has compromised her life in every way for me and is totally devoted to being honorable, genuine and sincere. I am eternally grateful for Kathy and reciprocate what she does for me. Her commitment and devotion is beyond price and the value of her is boundless and infinite. The fact that I have been alive for such a period of time only adds to the profound fact of how important she is to me.
Recent events have given the opportunity for others to either pass or fail the ultimate test of life, and Kathy has not only passed in every way, but I know that nothing, or no one would change what she does as the most decent, selfless and honorable soul that I have ever had the fortune of having in my life. The feeling of security she affords is beyond any word or words. To be gifted with such a priceless benefit is cherished as much as humanly possible. Kathy has earned my respect, appreciation and love for all time and beyond.
Thank you with all my heart, soul and love.

Giving Thanks
Giving Thanks
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
As 2011 rapidly comes to a close and with the Holidays fast approaching, you should stop to give thanks in every way. Take stock in what you have and don’t concern yourself or others with what you don’t have.
Having authored and published countless articles, composed and released countless songs (and albums including the world’s longest) to date, I have tried to impart in various formats just what life and what happens after is all about. If you keep in mind that greed is the root of all evils and actually understand the scope and meaning of that concept along with the term “Eternal” you are already on the correct path. If you don’t, I suggest you go back and listen to the music, and yes, even the songs that contain no lyrics or vocals share the same message.
Appreciation and the unconditional practice of being selfless is such an easy “one plus one equals two” concept to grasp. “Don’t pull horns off of unicorns” and “Don’t kick puppies” are some examples. I could go on and reference lyrical content and additional textual quotes, but I don’t want to take the fun out of it and hope that by figuring it out on your own will create a genuine and sincere knowledge of what “It” is all about. When you sit down to consume this Thanksgiving, realize all of the wonderful things there are and how cherished the precious gift of life is.

Love
Having been blessed by the highest form of eternal joy and love, I can offer tips to make even the better of the best relationship boundless pure bliss. First off, my partner is more than just my spouse, best friend and lover, she is my soul mate. I worship everything about her and the precious time we share. I am proud of her and she makes me proud of myself. We never argue or waste cherished life on negativity. We find the best in everything and we bring out the best in each other.
It’s little things that you can do for your love that are big. Above and beyond your wedding vows, there are easy things to do that we both see people neglect to practice and apply:
– Do not walk ahead of your partner, walk in stride with them. If you don’t walk in stride, it looks like you are embarrassed of them.
– Men should stand up when your woman gets up to go to the restroom. It is not only proper, but shows your courtesy, intelligence and respect and appreciation of your better half. I do this everywhere, not just in public.
– Ladies first: It applies to everything and is a selfless act of devoted love.
– Sincere complimentary living: Let them know how special they are and how fortunate they make you feel.
– Give more, expect less: The time to appreciate is always. If you truly love them, you will treat them as such without condition.
– We are human: Forgive mistakes.
If you share genuine, mutual love, this lifestyle should come naturally. Love. Honor. Cherish.

Relentless Pursuit of Justice
Relentless Pursuit of Justice
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
My Wife and I are done playing games. We have made a conscious decision to engage in a relentless pursuit of justice. The individuals who are guilty of greed motivated unconscionable acts need to pay up. We have exhausted all appeals and have given them every chance to make things meet and just. Fair is fair. Regardless of all, they will answer not just to us, but will also answer eternally. If things are not righted, the acts will be made public and we will seek relief in an honorable, legal manner.

How To Battle Menopause Hot Flashes
Control Menopause and Hot Flashes
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Menopause or “Change of Life” can cause wild mood swings, rage and hot flashes. If you are a woman going through a change and are suffering, there are some simple steps you can take to find relief.
- Place your bed in a wind tunnel or by a Hollywood Movie Studio sound stage lot fan. If this is not enough, you may need something a bit stronger such as a large GE or Rolls Royce Jet Engine placed in front of a dry ice factory.
- Instead of defrosting everyone’s food in the freezer, it may be a good idea to re-locate to the North Pole or Siberia.
- Carry a fire extinguisher at all times and keep one in the car and on your night stand.
- Take up skydiving in Alaska for recreational pursuits.
- Avoid cheap do-nothing products like the one in the picture below.

Eleven point five percent of the original concept was transferred from cassette masters to super wide format ferric oxide magnetic analog recording tape of a custom formulation. Exactly half of that was originally recorded at Josiah Smith Tavern, The Cave and various other facilities, studios and locations. The balance of the project was a direct transfer from the original masters in various formats. Every aspect of the entire conceptual project had been well thought out since it’s inception over 30 years ago.

Paranormal Ghost Spirits Real Or Fake
The Truth Will Always Reveal Itself
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Paranormal events and activities are real. Spirits (Ghosts) are real. It all ties in with the Afterlife with “witness to acts” used as evidence on Judgment Day being the main purpose. There are, however, contrived or faked things published from time to time. Two things come to mind:
1. Ghost Adventures Flying Brick at the Goldfield Hotel; Thrown off screen, then the footage was played back in reverse. Simple. Effective. Debunked.
2. Paranormal Activity Movie; They looked at the popularity of Ghost Hunters and similar shows and applied the Blair Witch Project concept to it. Great idea for income, but again, contrived.

Wealth In The Economy
Profit In Any Economy
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Regardless of the current state of economic growth, it is possible to create wealth and large profits in any economy. The real estate market is hit hard, but if you are fortunate enough to fall into certain categories, you can reap huge profit margins when it comes to a return on your investment.
Even in today’s economy, it is still feasible for a real estate bidding war to come to fruition. VIP and Celebrity-owned properties are often highly sought after. Proper marketing techniques will ensure a high yield property sale. Factor in custom properties that stand alone and have little or no comparative properties. Amenities aside, if you have something that is unique, you should hold out for a bidding war. My Estate, for example, is so unique, I have people driving by, then stopping to comment and take photos. If/when the estate goes on the market, there are already several prospects that have been waiting over a decade at a chance to buy/bid on the property.

The Skinny On Drinks
Skinny Drinks
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Not condoning drinking, but if you must, do so responsibly. You can enjoy slim drinks that will keep you thin and trim. The Paw Paw Passion by Joyce Davis is one way to enjoy a great beverage and still look great. There are a wealth of new drink recipes including the Cherokee Dream Catcher and mix concoctions that won’t make you feel full and let you keep your shapely figure.
The facts about drink nutrition:
Caloric content in mixed beverages can exceed those of beer and wine in a rapid fashion. Here is the equation:
Measure of alcohol + proof + mixer + size of drink = Number of Calories
The higher the proof, the higher the calories. One shot (aprox. one and one half ounce) or “serving” of eighty proof anything equates to 96 calories prior to adding any additional ingredient. So to skip the mixer and drink on the rocks, you get the least fattening drink. Some tips to keep things in check when adding mixes are to use the right choices. Here are some suggestions:
Tea or coffee: 0 Calories
Lime and lemon juices: (half ounce) 10 Calories
Diet tonics or soda: 0 Calories
Other variations include water or club soda.
So yes, you can have your cake and eat it too as long as you make the right choices when it comes to your favorite beverage.

Ghost Hunters
By: GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
We are working with Ghost Hunter Jason Hawes and the Ghost Hunters (Taps) Team. Evidence to date has been dispatched. The September 11 – 911 anniversary is right around the corner. The 100 year or century mark of the sinking of the Titanic is coming up. September 19 marks the 50 year anniversary for the Betty and Barney Hill UFO Alien abduction. The economy this year and all of the natural events that have taken place this year…….. Forget about Big Foot. The things that have been happening and the irrefutable evidence proving an afterlife make just about any news event pale in comparison.
All evidence will be presented to the public and media outlets. We have physical evidence, photos, videos and multiple witnesses. Those of you who are on our Facebook page have been watching some of the activities we are engaged in. Photos being uploaded from a phone at 420 am….. a phone that was turned OFF and still uploaded by itself. Photos that would not upload from the location where they were taken, another camera that shows photos but won’t transfer regardless of repeated attempts on MULTIPLE computers. EVP activity that has been conversing both ways daily….. the list goes on and on. We will keep you updated here, on Facebook, Google Plus (G+) and GlennDavisDoctorG.Com

Spirits Ghosts And Music
Spirits, Ghosts and Music
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Are you skeptical when it comes to ghosts? Whether you are, or are not is moot. The fact is that there is evidence if you look for it. We run a haunted recording studio and just recently integrated the best of the top EVP technology into a custom program that filters music of any genre or description and reveals spirits captured on recordings.
After extensively using the (now) top EVP app for the iPhone before it was released, it became obvious that a way to accurately document paranormal activity on recorded music was unavailable, so we set out to develop a way to do this, and the result is a one-of-a-kind EVP system that is now tested and is flawless. We have documented over 1000 recordings to date and are adding to list on a constant basis. The documented activities include voices (male and female) in many different languages, other various sounds and sounds made by animals.
A list of the recordings and the EVP transcripts will soon be published on a regular basis. The list will be alphabetical by artist and by song title. Some of the most astonishing results so far include the paranormal activities found on recordings by Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Jimi Hendrix.

ROFLMAO the story and song
The Story About ROFLMAO
By Glenn Davis Doctor G
With the recent smash hit record by LMFAO, it was decided to add a twist to a song, rather than artist name. With help from the all stars, a blend of new and improved arranging format was born. We decided it was time for a mix of the best new approaches to be applied.
The initial template was a blank slate, but after careful consideration, the whole thing leaned in favor of something that was new, yet very familiar. This gives the audience a reference point that they will relate to in a more mainstream, yet very different way. The entire project was focused on careful threading and pivotal placements. What we ended up with in the end was a less is more approach and it worked perfectly.

Olive Branch
The term “to extend an olive branch” means an offer of peace or reconciliation. The symbolism is also related to the biblical story of the dove which mates for life on the 14th day of February Valentines Day. Having posted four Flowers of Love, I noticed there is an extra week in June.
I went out to take a picture of a flower on the lone Olive Tree here, but all of the Olive Branches have expired. Today is the 14th day of the month.

How To Have The Ultimate Wedding
Making Your Wedding The Best It Can Be
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
So you are getting married. You want to remember this sacred day forever and you want it all to be flawless. It doesn’t matter what type of wedding ceremony you decide on, whether it’s a simple wedding or one with a long list of details. Making your wedding day the best it can be is easy and fun for everyone involved.
Wedding Planner: The first step in making your wedding memorable for a lifetime is deciding when and where. June is the most popular month of the year to get married. Depending on where you choose to tie the knot, getting married in June affords the benefit of the promise of nice weather. If any of the events surrounding your wedding involve the great outdoors, be it the reception, honeymoon, or the ceremony itself, June is your safest bet.
Wedding Checklist: After you make your choice in regards to the date and location, the next step is planning the details. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have the ultimate wedding, but if you choose to budget long jing, there are some easy ways to get the most out of your investment.
Wedding Do’s: If you are having your wedding at a prestigious location (such as the Martha Mary Chapel, for example) you may need to book your ceremony well in advance since there is a waiting list to utilize the facilities. The same goes for your choice of where you will hold the reception and where your honeymoon will take place. Don’t be afraid to ask for references when it comes to choosing a catering service, floral arrangements, photographer(s), videographer(s), limousine services, etc.
Wedding Day Music: You will need to decide who will perform the music at the ceremony and the reception. Some people choose to have a vocalist perform at the ceremony, and most weddings include at least one instrumentalist. Whether you choose a live band or a Dee Jay, the band or DJ will probably ask you for a playlist of favorite songs and will want to know what “your song” will be for your wedding day.
Honeymoon: The place you choose to honeymoon to celebrate your new marriage should be somewhere that is tied to love and marriage such as Bermuda. You should discuss this detail with your partner and again, you may need to book in advance.
The institution of marriage is life’s most sacred bond between two people and is one of the things in life that is always remembered, so with a little planning and forethought, you can make your wedding day the best it can be.

Make Summer More Fun Without Spending Any Money
It’s easy to make your Summer more fun without spending any money. Here’s how.
Music To Get Married By
Lovebird’s Birdsong
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
An ancient myth states that birds choose their mates on February 14. Doves mate for life, making them a romanticized bird, and lovebirds are known for being touchy and dependant on their mate. Since June is the most popular month to get married and with many weddings planned this June, you should find this inspiring.
Contrary to popular belief, another ancient story that relates to the origins of the term “Lovebirds” tells of a rare bird. The Bali Mynah are considered “the most affectionate bird” and have the distinguished reputation of creating the most lovely sounding Birdsong. An extremely beautiful bird, the Bali Mynah must surely define the provenance of the term Lovebird. Right now there are only about 13-14 Bali Mynahs left in the wild, so when you are making your wedding vows at your nuptial ceremony, think of this as you engage in the institution of marriage.
Scientific name: Leucopsar rothschildi
Family: Sturnidae
Order: Passeriformes
Class: Aves
More interesting facts surrounding this rare bird of love can be found at the site for the Honolulu Zoo in Hawaii.
Call Guinness again
It’s a good bet that a certain network television show will bend the rules and replace certain things with some sort of historic memorable thing.
A Hit Record
A Hit Record
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
This is the final installment of “How To Make A Hit Record” and is a crucial element.
Now that you have the hit record in your possession, it must be heard. Global public acceptance and awareness via broadcast rotation is the final step. Once the hit record is broadcasted, there will be a snowball effect and it will appear in more places as time goes on. How big the hit record becomes depends on many factors, some of which no one has control over. Tracking sales and airplay is accomplished with a service such as SoundScan and BDS.

Album Of The Year

The Ultimate Drumsticks
The Ultimate Drumsticks
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Back in the 1980’s, my now ex-wife gifted me a pair of Graphite Drumsticks on my birthday. They had cross-hatched non-slip grips and were solid one-piece construction. They played superbly and worked for all genres (except those requiring mallets or brushes) including those that employ side-sticking. They had perfect balance and weighting. Eventually, after years of abuse, they simply (tips) wore down.
Recently, I have tried many types of sticks including several prototypes ranging from all wood, to wood with nylon tips, to aluminum and fiberglass. One pair even had cool PVC grips which made them useless for reggae, country and other side stick intensive applications. Then I was offered an opportunity to try what could have been the ultimate pair of sticks.
The Ultimate “indestructible” Drumsticks had decent balance and weighting and “stops” to aid in not having the sticks become a projectile. Hollow and of 3-piece construction, they worked great for just about everything, and offered the brightness of nylon tips. After 2 hours use, one of the “stops” cracked and broke off (Heart 1). After 4 hours, the war wounds (body nicks) became apparent. The demise of these “Ultimate Drumsticks” occurred last night (after a total lifespan of only 6 hours of use) when one broke 3 inches below the tip (Heart 2).
Thankfully, no one sustained any injury, and my quest for the Ultimate Drumstick continues. I’m going back to the caveman days for the time being with Hickory 7A Ny-tips.

On The Cutting Edge Of Technology
Technology With Teeth
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
If you are into music, specifically making music, and even if you’re used to doing things old school, it’s virtually impossible to ignore new technology. I not only design and develop hardware and software for music, but I do it by blending tried and true with “here’s what’s new” and through trial and error, it seems to work very well for me.
I embrace the notion of “what’s old is new again” as much as I embrace trying out the latest and greatest. I also apply this practice when it comes to composing, arranging, performance and everything that is involved with producing records. I keep an open mind, love collaboration and keep enthusiastic and impassioned even when things hit a brick wall. I am inspired by challenge.
Currently, on the technical side of things, I am working on music using a wild combination of prototype technology (some created by myself and some by others) and older technology that is available to anyone. My weapons of choice are as follows:
– Arsenal of dedicated hardware including rack gear and stand-alones.
– Application based software (running wired AND wireless)
Instead of listing a complete inventory, the bulk of my front end kit is:
– Tape Machines (YES, I still use tape for many reasons and for different applications dependant upon what I am working on at the time)
– Computers (several custom and a $200 Walmart special)
– My main controllers are a Palm Airdrum unit (with wireless hand controllers similar to a Wii system), heavily modified Roland Workstation, Wireless Airguitar System processed through the Concertone, and my acoustic drum kit fitted with triggers.
– Consoles are a custom re-profiled (all Japanese electronics) Yamaha Recording Console with automation and a Toft designed LARGE format desk with all hand-wired British Electronics including two custom channel strips; one all Neve and the other all API.
– My main way to capture acoustic audio depends on what I am trying to capture and print, but I mostly use a Marshall Prototype Tube Microphone.
– Monitors include NS10m, Cizaks, Genelec 1031A’s, JBL (custom), Mini-Auratone’s that are actually house-branded and a pair of Calibration Standard Instruments MDM-TA3’s. Cans are an assortment from Fostex and Sennheiser and AKG (240 DF being the favorite for accuracy)
– I mix to tape, direct to CD, direct to disk and through the Cloud 9 Music Pro App Suite. I choose what I like best on each project (and yes, strangely enough it sounds different each time) and the unchosen formats become archival.
I am currently collaborating via file-transfer with other artists as a way to save time and money. It seems to be working superbly.

Equally Tempered And Chromatic Scales
Equal Temperament
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
A ‘pure’ or ‘perfect’ interval is one in which a harmonic of one pitch beats very slowly with a different harmonic of the other pitch. After the octave (in which the second harmonic of the lower tone is consonant with the fundamental of the higher tone) comes the fifth, in which the third harmonic of the lower tone beats with the second harmonic of the higher tone. The ratio of the fundamentals of two tones a perfect fifth apart is 3:2 – as you can see, the numbers in the ratio are the same as the numbers of the harmonics that form the consonance.
This phenomenon suggests a method of tuning a keyboard instrument to pure intervals. We can start with one reference pitch (such as Middle C), then tune the pitch a perfect fifth above that, then add another perfect fifth. This will take us up more than an octave from where we started, so we drop back an octave, tuning the D directly above Middle C so its second harmonic corresponds to the fundamental of the higher D. Repeating this process twelve times and dropping down an octave whenever necessary, we will find ourselves almost a perfect octave above the starting pitch. Going through the Circle of Fifths like this ought to be a good way to get a keyboard instrument in tune. The only trouble is that the last, almost-a-perfect-octave note is slightly out of tune with the first: it’s sharp. The ‘circle’ doesn’t close. This tuning error is called the Pythagorean Comma, and it’s about a quarter of a semitone. So piano tuners actually tune all of the fifths just a bit flat, so that the tuning circle closes and all of the fifths sound the same.
Let’s review what we’ve done. We started with the notion that a perfect fifth (3:2 frequency ratio) is one of the most important intervals in music, second in importance only to the octave. We constructed a scale from twelve perfect fifths. We then noticed that the last note of the scale is a little sharp compared to the first, so we flattened all the fifths an equal amount so that the last note is exactly an octave above the first. This process of stretching or compressing perfect intervals to make a scale come out ‘even’ (so that the ending note is an exact integral number of perfect octaves from the first) is called ‘tempering.’ Furthermore, when you temper the tuning of a scale so that all intervals between adjacent notes are the same, then you have ‘equal temperament.’ An equally tempered scale with twelve notes to the octave is called the chromatic scale, which – of course – is what your ivories produce.
All of the keyboard music we hear is based on the chromatic scale, so we are inclined to think of it as a heaven-sent standard. Actually, it is a set of compromises, in which all of the intervals are out of tune to one extent or another. The table below shows the frequency ratios between the various notes of the chromatic scale and the root note of the scale.
NOTE RATIO TO ROOT
Root 1.0000 to 1
2 1.0595 to 1
3 1.1225 to 1
4 1.1892 to 1
5 1.2599 to 1
6 1.3348 to 1
7 1.4142 to 1
8 1.4983 to 1
9 1.5874 to 1
10 1.6818 to 1
11 1.7818 to 1
12 1.8877 to 1
Octave 2.0000 to 1
Don’t worry, you don’t have to memorize all those numbers. In fact they are important to us only in that they enable us to compare the intervals of the chromatic scale to perfect (just) intervals.
To compare intervals, we use a unit of frequency measurement called the ‘cent.’ There are 100 cents in a chromatic (equally tempered) semitone, and therefore 1200 cents in an octave. One cent is a very small interval. Two notes a semitone apart have about a 6% frequency difference, so a cent is a frequency difference of 0.06%. If you were to play the G which is 2-1/2 octaves above Middle C, then a note one cent above it would beat with it once per second. Most people cannot tell two notes a cent apart if they are played one after the other. However, many musicians can tell if two notes are two cents apart, and nearly everybody can hear a pitch difference if two notes are five cents apart. If the notes of a scale are more than ten cents from where they should be, the resulting music will sound out of tune.
This should give you an idea of how big an interval a cent is. Now let’s see how out-of-tune the intervals of our beloved chromatic scale are when we compare them to perfect intervals.
First, let’s look at the perfect fifth. Its frequency ratio is 3:2, or 1.5 to 1. The ratio of the chromatic fifth (note #8 from the above table) is 1.4983 to 1, which is mighty close to 1.5. They are about 0.1% apart. In terms of cents, the chromatic fifth is about two cents flat – close enough to be considered ‘perfect’ for most musical applications. The same is true of the fourth: 1.3333 to 1 for the perfect fourth versus 1.3348 to 1 for the chromatic fourth, which makes the chromatic fourth about two cents sharp.
How about the major third? The perfect major third has a frequency ratio of 1.25 to 1, whereas the ratio of the chromatic major third (note #5 from the table) is 1.2599 to 1. The error here is 0.8%, or about thirteen cents. The minor third (note #4) error is 0.9%, or about fifteen cents. The minor sixth has the same error as the major third, because the minor sixth is an octave minus a major third, and the octave is ‘perfect’ in the chromatic scale. Similarly, the major sixth has the same error as the minor third.
The most important mistuning error of the chromatic scale is the minor seventh. The perfect minor seventh has a frequency ratio of 7:4, or 1.75 to 1. The chromatic minor seventh (note #11 in the table) has a frequency ratio of 1.7818 to 1, which gives an error of 1.8%, or 30 cents! This is why a chromatic minor seventh always sounds discordant. The fact is that most of us keyboard players don’t really know what a consonant minor seventh sounds like. Vocalists and orchestral musicians, on the other hand, produce consonant seconds, thirds, sixths, and sevenths, as well as fourths and fifths, because they instinctively bend toward consonance as they play

By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
There are a number of misunderstandings about room acoustics. They resurface regularly, are promulgated by the current crop of gurus, and lead to inevitable wasted money or unsatisfactory results.
I would like to shed some light on one of the more enduring confusions that I have been hearing for quite some time. It’s particularly relevant to the small and large studios as well as other listening environments. And it takes the form of the statement something like, “you can’t get bass in a small room”
The current pundits making this assertion will produce some formulas showing what the supposed lower limit of bass response is going to be for a given maximum room dimension. Or they will repeat the conventional wisdom that is necessary to have “a room with a physical, long dimension of half the wavelength of the lowest frequency your monitor can reproduce,” with the implication that you cannot get (good? any?) bass response below this limit.
Unfortunately, the gurus sometimes seem to be out of touch with reality, especially what might be called technical reality, or engineering as we sometimes call it. Fortunately, the situation is far more optimistic than these predictions would lead you to believe. So before you go looking for more real estate, read on and take cheer – you can get good bass in smaller rooms, and in fact you are already doing it in some cases, as I will now discuss.
There’s one type of “small room” that nearly all of us are quite familiar with. It has a sound system in it, frequently with very powerful low frequency response. It goes past my window, and yours, every day. It’s called an automobile. My rattling glass panes will testify to the bass response of these “rooms” as will your ears if you are unlucky enough to be caught in one of them. The longest dimension of most of them is six for seven feet; let’s call it eight feet to include your favorite vintage gas guzzler, or limousine, if business is really going well.
Now, if The Guru’s Rule is true, there should be (no? poor?) bass below 70 Hz, assuming that the speed of sound is about 1130 feet per second. Manifestly, there is lots of sound output below 70 Hz in many car systems. Enough in fact to make you reach for your ear plugs.
Next, let us consider another, even smaller enclosure that by definition has a woofer in it – the loudspeaker enclosure that houses most of your direct radiator systems. Therefore, if we put our head, or better a microphone, inside the box we should hear (no? little?) bass within this small “room” Ever try it? I can assure you it’s not quiet in there at any frequency.
Finally, just to hammer home the point, there’s another extremely small enclosure that produces good bass on occasions; that’s the little space defined by headphones and your external ear canal. The longest dimension here is 2 inches. This should, according to the conventional wisdom, lead to the conclusion that we cannot hear (any? much? good?) bass below 3400 Hz from headphones!
OK, these are enough common sense examples that we all know about. They should give the lie to this very common fallacy that you cannot have extended low frequency response within a small space. No advanced technical knowledge required – you have all heard at least two of these examples yourself.
Is that it? Room size has no effect on low frequencies? Not at all. But reality is a little more complex, as I will explain.
What can be correctly predicted by the half wavelength formula (especially if you use the correct speed of sound) is the frequency of the lowest room mode, or resonance, for a rectangular room. Rooms, all of them, what ever their shape, will have these natural resonances, dependent upon their dimensions and shape. It’s a function of enclosing air with reflecting surfaces, no more, no less. Below this limit, a loudspeaker will simply “pressurize the room” rather than excite its resonant modes. But it won’t suddenly fall silent. It will simply have to survive without the “modal support” that most rooms provide, however unevenly.
Nailing another popular fallacy; creating irregular shapes, for rooms or loudspeaker enclosures, doesn’t get rid of these modes, or even markedly change the number of them. All it does is move around (unpredictably, unless you go to a great deal of very complex computer analysis) the frequencies or locations at which the modes occur. They’re still there, except we’ll have a harder time predicting how they’ll be distributed along the frequency spectrum and throughout the space.
Notice that I didn’t say, in the last sentence above, “along the low frequency spectrum” That’s because these room modes occur from the lower limit set more or less by the longest room dimensions, right on up to ultrasonic bat territory, if you have a loudspeaker that can generate them.
However, what happens is that there are more of them as the frequency goes up. The wavelength gets shorter and shorter and hence there are more “wavelength multiples” within each room dimension. As they say in the high brow journals, the modal density increases as the frequency increases. At low frequencies there are fewer modes with larger gaps between them.
This leads to what we have all experienced: If you slowly sweep a sine wave through the low frequency part of the spectrum, even a perfect loudspeaker has a ragged seeming response, because the room modes reinforce at some frequencies and cancel at others. And this is the crux of the issue about room dimensions and bass response. Most loudspeaker designers are assuming, correctly, that these modes will be there to boost the low end output of their products, even if the boost is irregular. There’s nothing wrong with this – rooms generally do have modes. Yes, there are ways around this, but that’s another, lengthy matter, and doesn’t lead to any immediately easy solutions.
However, if we have a loudspeaker that can produce frequencies below the lowest mode of the room it’s in, we’ll certainly hear them. The problem for the loudspeaker is that it’s now operating in what is called “the pressure zone” and doesn’t get any (erratic) help from the room resonances to support/amplify/distort it’s output. This puts a big load on the woofer, which is having to work increasingly harder anyway as the frequency drops. Many loudspeakers cannot keep up with the demands, and this leads to the erroneous conclusion that the room is the problem.
Most “reference” loudspeakers are not designed to produce anything below 40 or 50 Hz anyway, wherever they’re placed, no matter what is said, or advertised about the speaker’s credentials. Using the half wavelength formula, a rectangular room with a 14-foot length would produce a reinforcing mode at 40 Hz and make most listeners hear “great bass”
In fact, the smoothest bass response will be found below the lowest room resonance, in the pressure zone, if the loudspeaker can handle it. The amplitude will be controlled only by the woofer output and the room absorption, which can be, but is not always controlled.
To summarize: The size of the room/enclosure/whatever only determines where the lowest resonance will occur. The room resonances will sporadically reinforce (and equally sporadically cancel) the bass output above this frequency. Below this frequency, in the pressure zone, the woofer is largely on it’s own and often falls short, as would be clear in an anechoic/outdoor environment.
There’s a great deal more to room design at low frequencies than simply ignoring its dimensions, but you don’t have to be automatically deprived of good bass anywhere – not if your loudspeaker can survive the pressure zone!
