The Ultimate Romance
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Valentine’s Day is the day of love. June is the ultimate month for a wedding. Summer is the season of love. So where do you go and what do you do for the ultimate romance ? They say “the best things in life are free” and at last check, love is free. A walk on a beach is free. Holding hands is free. Embrace followed by a kiss is free. Picking beautiful wildflowers is free. Collecting interesting rocks that time and water have sculpted is free.
It’s not really what you do or where you go, it’s who you do it with. If you have a timeless moment sitting under the moon looking out over the lake, you will cherish that event forever not for what you did and where you did it, but for the person who shared it with you. Don’t get me wrong, a candlelight dinner for two at a place like The Country Cow (which I have yet to visit, although I have been in their parking lot once) would be a nice place for romancing, but again, the most important thing is who you share romance with.
So what is the ultimate romance? The ultimate romance is when two people find true unconditional love.
