Everything You Want & Need To Know About Bermuda
By GLENN DAVIS DOCTOR G
Having traveled the world over almost a half century, the fact stands that there is no better place than Bermuda. By Jet, Cruise Ship and Private Yacht, I have visited the Island more times than I can count. I maintain a vast archive of over five thousand images, video, 8mm, super 8, audio and art (including one of a kind originals from Adolph Treidler and Alfred Birdsey) as well as being the proud holder of valuable one-of Bermuda Cruise Ships, Hotels and Historical collectibles. I also hold gold and platinum record awards tied to The Bermuda Strollers and Esso Steel Band – whom Jackie Gleason and I performed with together in Bermuda at Elbow Beach Resort. I hold the only known photographs (which I took myself) in the world of Obso Lounge, which only stood for a very short time before being destroyed in a hurricane.
My family was the first paying customer of the Southampton Princess and Sonesta Beach (the hotels and resorts were still under construction when we first stayed there thanks in part to knowing the owners and construction company) and was also lucky to meet Howard Hughes at Ludwig’s property.
I will be adding sections on Island History and other factual content.
